How the top 5 biggest military powers spend over a trillion dollars

Global military budgets stacked up to a mammoth $1.9 TRILLION last year, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute’s (SIPRI) latest annual report. That’s the biggest increase in a decade. The top five spenders are Saudi Arabia, Russia, India, China and, of course, the US – which accounts for 38 percent of the entire globe’s military spending.
