Hello, fellow Splinterlands warriors! How are you doing?
How has your journey through the leagues been going? Is your rating climbing, or is your patience being tested by opponents who seem to come out of nowhere with lineups that leave you scratching your head?
As for me, this latest journey has been quite interesting. I started battling again in Modern Mode, one match at a time. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. A win immediately boosts my spirits. When I lose, I usually take another look at my lineup and ask myself: Did I choose the wrong cards, or was my opponent simply luckier this time?
That’s how this game works. We can have a strategy, but the final outcome doesn’t always go our way.
Still, I kept pushing forward. Little by little, until I finally managed to reach Modern division 6.
Of course, this achievement came with a nice little bonus. Every time I advance to a higher league, I get the chance to earn Glint and reward chests, or loot chests. I can save Glint for future needs, while the chests offer a chance to obtain cards and various useful items.
This time, I got the opportunity to open 6 reward chests.
Six chests! That’s not bad at all when you think about it. I started imagining the possibility of getting some good cards. Who knows? Maybe I’d find a card I’d been needing to strengthen my collection.
Finally, I started opening the chests one by one.
And the result?
Honestly, it wasn’t particularly exciting.
Out of the six chests, three contained Potions. Another reward was Merits, while only two chests gave me cards.
And the cards I got were Surgeblade and Ironwing Juggernaut.
Both are Common cards.
Well, at this point, all I could do was smile a little. I had been hoping for a big surprise, but instead, I got two Common cards and a few supporting items. That’s the nature of opening chests. If the results always matched our expectations, we probably wouldn’t feel so curious every time we pressed that open button.
Even so, I don’t want to consider these results a complete disappointment.
Surgeblade and Ironwing Juggernaut still add to my collection. Common cards have their uses, especially when I collect more copies that can eventually help me level them up. Meanwhile, Potions and Merits are still valuable resources that can support my progress in the game.
It's just that, for this particular chest opening, I was hoping for something more exciting.
Now I’ve reached Modern League 6. The journey isn’t over yet, and there are still higher leagues for me to aim for.
Hopefully, luck will be a little kinder the next time I open my chests. Maybe instead of welcoming me with two Common cards, I’ll find something that makes me say out loud, “Now that’s what I call a reward!”
For now, I’m still grateful. Six chests opened, two new cards added to my collection, and the journey continues.
That’s how my loot chest opening went this time. Let’s keep battling, collecting Glint, and hoping the next chests bring even more exciting surprises!
See you in the next battle, Splinterlands warriors!
