Greetings, Splinterlands warriors!

This time, I want to share an experience from a Brawl that, honestly, was a little different from usual. Normally, I often benefit when an opponent fails to set up a lineup or doesn't participate in the battle at all. But this time, things were the other way around. It wasn't my opponent who ran away from the arena. I was the one who failed to make it into the arena.

The reason was simple, but pretty frustrating: work at the office was extremely busy. Because of that, I didn't have time to open Splinterlands and set up my team for the Brawl battles. By the time I realized it, most of the battles were already over. And as you can probably guess, my monsters were standing quietly on the sidelines while my opponents showed up, fought, and went home with the victories.

The final result was rather depressing: I ended up with 6 losses. Fortunately, I still had 2 automatic wins, which kept my record from turning into a complete graveyard of defeats.

Even so, there was one small thing I could still be proud of. From this entire Brawl, I managed to contribute 6 points to the guild.

Six points isn't exactly a number that makes people set off fireworks. But considering that I didn't even have time to set up a lineup, I think it's about as good as finding some loose change in the pocket of an old pair of pants.

Of course, I felt bad toward my guildmates. I usually try to contribute as much as possible, but this time my workload kept me from fulfilling my responsibility properly. So, I have to apologize to my guild friends for not being able to contribute more points.

As a result, ClaNFT had to settle for 4th place in this Brawl.

Another thing I really regret is the rewards. I personally didn't receive any Merits or staked SPS from this Brawl. Meanwhile, guild members who participated fully received 2,000 Merits, while players who had a Spellbook received 20,095 staked SPS.

That's when I was reminded once again that Brawl isn't just about winning or losing. There is a small responsibility that we carry as part of a guild. When one person doesn't participate in the battle, it's not only that person who loses the opportunity to earn rewards. Their contribution to the guild's final result is reduced as well.

For new players, I think this is one of the reasons joining a guild is so interesting. Brawl teaches us how to play as part of a group. We learn strategies, become familiar with different battle rules, understand the abilities of various cards, and most importantly, learn that victory isn't always about one individual.

A guild is also a place where we can ask questions when we're confused. Sometimes we lose not because our cards are bad, but because we chose the wrong strategy. By learning from our guildmates' experiences, we can avoid having to make every mistake ourselves.

And I just learned a very simple lesson myself: don't get so busy that you forget to enter the arena.

This Brawl certainly wasn't my best achievement. But at least, it reminded me that in Splinterlands, consistency is just as important as strategy.

So, if you've joined a guild and been given a Brawl assignment, don't waste the opportunity. Set up your lineup on time, participate in the battles, and don't be afraid of losing. Because every defeat always has something to teach us.
