Greetings, Splinterlands warriors!

There’s some exciting news from the creative corner of the Splinterlands community. Artisan Quarter continues to evolve with two updates that I think are quite important, especially for players who enjoy creating their own sticker designs. These changes are not just about shops or sales figures, but also about giving community creations the recognition and rewards they deserve.

We’ve already seen plenty of stickers decorating Collector Binders. Now, there’s another reason to pay attention to the creators behind those designs.

The biggest change is the revenue-sharing policy for Artisan Stickers. Under the latest update, sales revenue from eligible stickers is now split as follows:

  • 80% goes to the sticker creator
  • 20% goes to the SPS DAO

In my opinion, this is definitely worth appreciating. Creating a sticker isn't always something you can finish in five minutes. It takes an idea, drawing, revisions, and effort to come up with a design that fits the Splinterlands community.

With an 80% share, creators receive a much larger portion of every sale. This means that when someone buys a favorite sticker, that purchase also becomes a direct way to support the player who designed it.

I see Artisan Quarter gradually becoming a small creative economy within the Splinterlands ecosystem. Players can now contribute not only through battles, staking, or guild activities, but also through their creativity.

Stickers Are More Than Just Decorations

When we look at the Collector Binder, there's something interesting to consider. A Binder doesn't have to be just a place to store cards. Players can add stickers to showcase their collection's personality, celebrate achievements, or simply express their personal taste.

I often imagine two players with almost identical card collections, but their Binders look completely different. One chooses a particular theme, while the other decorates theirs with stickers from their favorite creators. Suddenly, each Binder feels like a personal space for self-expression.

And when those stickers are created by fellow community members, they carry an extra value that can't simply be measured in DEC.

Of course, buying stickers isn't mandatory. But if you come across a design you really like, supporting its creator can be a fun way to appreciate their work.

Creativity That Can Keep Growing

Personally, I like the direction of this update. Splinterlands feels more alive when the community isn't just watching from the sidelines but actively creating something of its own.

If you find a sticker that matches your collection or favorite character, take a moment to check out who created it. And for players with a talent for design, Artisan Quarter could be a great opportunity to introduce your work to a wider community.

Because sometimes, the greatest contribution doesn't come from owning the most expensive cards or winning the most battles. It might just come in the form of a small sticker that makes someone's Binder feel a little more special.
