One of the coolest features of our new home is this old support bean. Every single person that we have invited over has commented on this feature. We love it too! Our house is 70 years old, but it was totally remodeled. This blends the new and old together! However there are notches cut out where other beams were tied into it, my first thought was to cut new wood to fill these notches. (IDK why was this my first thought, why must I fill the hole???lol) Anyways credit goes to Aunt Debbie who said, you guys need to put some mini-figures in there! Brilliant!
