Hi everyone what i want to talk about might be a little bit off but i know that is what we women experienced sometimes......
To be honest, just remembering this experience still makes me cringe till today. It happened not too long ago, and it was one of those moments where I just wanted to disappear completely. If there was a hole nearby that day, I swear I would have jumped inside without thinking twice.

So here’s what happened ooo

It was a normal weekday. I had somewhere important to go, so I dressed up, wore my black jeans, and left the house feeling fresh and confident. I knew my period was close, but it hadn’t started yet, so I didn’t expect anything. I just carried one spare pad in my bag just in case.

Everything was going well until I got to my destination. I was at a small public event, and we had to sit for a long time. I didn’t feel anything strange, so I didn’t bother to go to the toilet. But after standing up at some point, I noticed a lady behind me staring at me in a funny way.

I adjusted my bag and walked away quickly, thinking maybe it was nothing. Then another girl came close and gently whispered to me, “Excuse me, I think you’re stained.”

My heart dropped instantly 😩.

I turned around slowly, and lo and behold there was a big red stain at the back of my jeans. I froze. I couldn’t even move. I was so embarrassed I couldn’t look at anybody in the eye. I just mumbled “thank you” and rushed straight to the rest room

In there, I wanted to cry. I cleaned myself up and tried to wrap my scarf around my waist, but I just felt like everyone had seen it already. I didn’t even stay for the rest of the event. I just found the nearest okada and went home.

That moment made me feel so small. I kept thinking, Why today of all days? Why didn’t I wear darker clothes? Why didn’t I use protection just in case?

But after getting home and calming down, I started thinking differently.

This is something natural that happens to every woman. Periods are not a crime. It was just an unfortunate incident that caught me off guard. Since that day, I’ve learned to always go out fully prepared even if my period hasn’t started. I carry extra pads, tissue, and wear double layers if needed. It taught me to be more aware of my body too.

It was embarrassing, yes. But it also made me stronger. And now I can share it and maybe help another girl not feel too bad if it happens to her too.

Because at the end of the day, it’s part of being a woman. And we move! 😅 is not easy to be a woman.
Thanks for reading my post
With love❤️🩷🧡
