Pea in Snow

Originally I was going to post this photo in my post about spring pea planting yesterday.

The more I looked at this photo the more I thought it should be highlighted separately from the rest of the photos I took yesterday and deserved the #macrophotography tag.

I like the juxtaposition of the 4 seasons represented in this photo.

The leaf from fall, the snow, the pea seed, and the blade of grass growing.

Just as a reminder if you are in New York you should plant your spring peas!
