This is my entry for this weekend engagement. Take one of the phrases below, fill in the blanks and write at least 300 words;.This weekend I met my sister and we shop then sing together.
I decided to spend the weekend away from home after five months of staying at home, my sister is currently staying at my place in school with her friend for the main time. They are fixed with a very tight schedule, lectures, community posting and they are working on their project alongside.
I will have the opportunity to stay away from home for some time spend the weekend somewhere else and do one or two things before going back to home. It was a three hour journey from home to my destination and I was given a warm welcome, she happens to be a student-nurse with her close friend, they are temporarily at my place because it was convienient for them since I am not around.
She took me out today at a supermarket not far from our place. I'm not really the out going type, but I love going for this type of outing sometimes as long as it's stress free and exciting. It was just a mini shopping we didn't plan to spend much so we just picked some fruits drinks and youghurts, then proceeded to pick up some chocolate and cakes. Personally, I love taking chocolates the most. We checked for some icecream also, I got myself a small size strawberry ice cream because I don't really like taking ice creams but my sis took a bigger size of vanilla ice cream.
Singing is awesome for me. I don't know for others. It's always an exciting moment for me when I sing. After going back home we turned the room into a house party as we played music and sang together. We sang together until we got tired. It was a nice weekend experience for me. I got a new fresh air space and I got to see a clear view of the sky. I barely go out as I am an introvert. But I never regret going out today even though I didn't want to go in the first instance I told her to go alone and buy something for me when returning but I eventually followed her after much persuasion. It was a rare weekend for me because I hardly go out for this type of thing.
