Hi there!
Finally this year is over... what the hell was that, eh?

For me personally, the highlight has been learning Blender, so today I wanted to bring my new passion over here and show a few animations I've made in the last month or so.

The first one I made was just a compendium of stuff I learned to do with the software and it's a bit more random than the others, but also the most complex of the three.

This thing crushed my 5 year old computer so I had to divide the thing in 3 different parts and render them one a night.
Wonder how long something like movie quality CGI could take to render over here, just one frame haha.

This and the next one were both tokenized at Makersplace and sold pretty fast, which made me so happy. :D

My year in 22 seconds.

I liked the sun explosion and wanted to get a better view of it. For this I spent a good while improving the effect, and also learned how to import a character from Daz 3D, remake the materials and so forth.

Another learning experience and I wanted to make something more expressive, as silly as it may be.

Lastly the most recent one so far, at least that it's finished.

This one is now available on Makersplace, only one copy here:

Here's a still I made of it that I love, even though it was half way through the process.
The only way I can use the proper render engine on my computer is when I do very simple stuff, so this is as far as I got with it.

All the sounds for these are taken from the free http://freesound.org library which I've always found to be a super helpful resource.

Have a good 2021 everyone.
Cheers!
