Hello Hive people, I hope you are well.
Today I am going to share something different with you, and that is how things happened from my perspective on the 28th and 29th here in Venezuela, or at least in my area and nearby.
I woke up not too early, but not too late either, I thought I was going to wake up at 5 am. Since he always used to sound bugles or alarms in the street on election day, but this time it didn't happen. And well, nothing, I made my breakfast, my partner came to visit for a little while because he had already gone to vote, right now I'm living with my mother to help her a little because she's been sick. Well, I went down with my mother to the voting center, I went quickly with her because she is an older adult and they allowed me to vote too, that was good for both of us.
The afternoon passed quickly, waiting for 6 pm. to go to the voting center and be a witness, this wait became a little longer than the entire afternoon, at 9 at night I was still waiting for the results at the voting center with other people. People were excited about the opposition's victory and began to make a fuss, although it was a little tense, it was said that they were going to intimidate witnesses at the voting centers, but I still waited.
I was waiting for the results quite eagerly, after they were announced by the Chavista CNE, I waited even more anxiously for Mar铆a Corina to speak a little later, already in the early morning. What she said was encouraging, but I imagine that not everyone listened to her, because of the time, and because nothing that is not in favor of the government is broadcast here on national TV.
The next day the streets woke up without spirits, it felt like January 1st, but from one moment to the next people began to express their discontent and people began to take to the streets. But later people wanted to get to the Miraflores Palace, which is the headquarters of the Government of Venezuela. Those called by Chavez in those years began to emerge as "Bolivarian circles" or collectives as they are called now, which are people that the government itself put together for their protection. These people came to the different demonstrations that came out of the neighborhoods of Caracas. A neighbor was shot in the leg. And in videos that you can find on the networks you can see how these people arrive behind the guards' barricades to shoot people. Around here in the Propatria blocks shots were heard in the distance.
Around 6 in the afternoon, Mar铆a Corina came out to give a press conference that I obviously saw on YouTube, from what I said before on TV in the country, she talked about the true results of the elections, and she talked about a platform What they did to verify the vote of each and every one of the Venezuelans, where only with the ID number you can verify your vote and the minutes of the voting center. This caused enormous joy in the people and they felt a lot of energy, whistles, shouts, commotion and a lot of emotion. Regarding the demonstrations, I have not had more information, only that it can be found on social networks, at the moment people have not yet resumed their activities normally and there may be more repression in the streets.
