Good morning all my fellow Steemians!
If you are a fan of football you most likely witnessed last nights Vikings vs. Saints game. As a die hard Minnesota Vikings fan this game was payback for the Saints "bounty gate" from 2009. But more importantly it was another step toward our ultimate goal of a Super Bowl Championship!
To say I am on cloud 9 yet this morning would be an understatement. I have witnessed so much heart break over the years as a Minnesota sports fan that it was almost a forgone conclusion that our season would end the way that game looked like it was headed. Then the unimaginable happened. Case Keenum connected with Stefon Diggs for a 61 yard touchdown with no time remaining to win the game. Hollywood could not write a better script. There were 3 lead changes in the last 2 minutes of the game!
We now head to Philly to take on the Eagles for a shot to play in the Super Bowl. A Super Bowl which happens to be hosted in our Stadium this year. Should we end up winning it all this will be a season for the ages! No team has ever played the Super Bowl in their home stadium. I'll be watching, I'll be praying, and I'll be rooting my team on till the very end!
