It's stories like these that reinforce how primitive our current centralized financial system is and how desperate we are for the solution that alt-coins offer. The very notion that hurricane victims in Houston should be forced to depend on egg heads and autocrats in Washington DC for the permission and ability to buy and sell goods is just nuts. What these people need is already likely in their pocket or purse, a cell phone! They simply need to access their alt-coin wallet and they are ready to do business without the help or permission of the fed. What will it take to wake people up? I'm sorry but if you don't have some cryptocurrency in your bug-out bag then what are you thinking of?!
