I am making my first post. I am new so I don't know anything yet...like how to find community/groups/subreddits? ick no. I am trying to quit reddit/twitter. I am a addict. I know it doesn't help me and I keep using them anyway. The setup for Hive was more complicated than I would usually do....but I believe in the general de-centralized, anarcho-voluntaryism-freedom-ReLOVEution principles to have done the extra steps of saving all the keys and figuring out what the hell the diffferent ones are for and here I am.
I once used Digg and saw it become censored...reddit same...MSM comments same.
I used steem a couple years ago but didn't really make it a habit. I went right back to Reddit and twitter. Now I am glad I never got too into Steemit because that sounds like it was an attempted takeover as well.
I came here for 1 real reason. The plandemic lockdowns were damaging my mental health. I desperately wanted to argue about every inconsistency and scream at journalist and experts on twitter about every contradicting piece of advice or justification for muzzling humanity and imposing a complete economic shutdown on 30% of the US labor force. More accurately, I let the lockdowns damage me.
Then I stumbled upon https://coronacircus.com/. One of the authors was on reddit conspiracy. It is easy to tell that reddit plays lots of favorites on what type of news and stories are promoted. Just like Digg in 2008 during the Ron Paul campaign.
so @Icaros got me here. From the conspiracy community. I love humans. I want to see a better future for my kids. I would like to see a healthy economy and lower costs to good housing...falling education cost....falling health care costs and improved food quality with lower costs as well. I'd like to see families with more time together and less time sitting in cars or filling out paperwork for the IRS.
I believe poor struggling people of all colors have more in common than the media is promoting. I believe the world economic freedom, freedom of expression and basic human rights are more important than obeying the experts.
I'm probably gonna buy some Hive tokens once I figure out what the hell I am doing here.
