Horizon between the rails | My entry for #Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

Hello, Hive black-and-white photography enthusiasts!

In the past, I have shared other photographic series featuring railway lines, their sleepers, and iron machines gliding along in their linear magic toward some destination.

As I make my way toward any point of the compass in the city, it is almost impossible not to encounter a railway crossing or the remnants of train tracks. Consequently, that inner or subconscious call—which we photographers cannot ignore—captivates and compels us to halt our journey and click the shutter right there, merging with the light and its photographic allure.

I was on my way back from my son's house, crossing the railway station—the sun at its scorching zenith—when something caught my attention.

Nature—in the form of flowers, blades of grass, and the green of hope—is there, conquering the concrete on one side and the rocks on the other, asserting its beauty amidst screws, nuts, unyielding steel, and an infinite horizon...

And so, sighing as I gaze at that horizon—which I hope will embrace me someday not too far off—I bid you farewell, sending a warm, radiant embrace to each of you until the next black-and-white frame.

En anteriores ocasiones, he compartido otras series fotográficas relacionadas con las líneas ferroviarias, sus travesaños, maquinarias de hierro que se deslizan en su lineal magia hacia alguna parte.

Durante mi transitar hacia cualquier punto cardinal de la ciudad, casi es imposible no encontrarnos con un crucero o un resto de vías férreas. Por tanto, ese llamado interior o subconsciente que no podemos ignorar los fotógrafos, nos cautiva y presiona para detener la marcha y presionar el obturador ahí, fundiéndonos con la luz y su encanto fotográfico.

Venía yo de regreso de casa de mi hijo, cruzando la estación del ferrocarril, el sol en su cenit abrasador y algo atrapó mi atención.

La naturaleza en forma de flores, brizna, verde esperanza, ahí, conquistando el cemento por un lado, rocas por otro, imponiendo la belleza entre tornillos, tuercas, acero férreo y un infinito al horizonte...

Y así, suspirando ante ese horizonte que espero me abrace algún día no muy lejano, me despido con un abrazo de luz a cada uno de ustedes hasta un próximo fotograma en blanco y negro.
