A mi izquierda
unas chicas hablan de Lucifer,
la Atlántida,
el cosmos,
la reencarnación,
el pecado original y su defensa,
aún cuando no coinciden
en la realidad del libro
que no han leído entre sorbos de café.
A mi derecha,
unos chicos
intercambian direcciones de casas con piscinas,
bares,
discotecas con precios de otro mundo,
clandestinas,
pero con la opción
de abrazar delfines en la costa
luego de bañarse.
En el medio,
yo,
que alguna vez leí,
e incluso,
quise navegar con delfines en tu vientre.

To my left,
some girls talk about Lucifer,
Atlantis,

even though they don't agree
on the reality of the book

between sips of coffee.
To my right,
some guys
exchange addresses of houses with pools,
bars,
nightclubs with out-of-this-world prices,
underground spots,
yet with the option
to embrace dolphins off the coast
after a swim.
In the middle,
me—
who once read,
and even
wanted to swim with dolphins in your womb.
