On the other side of the jetty is Long Beach and technically it's in LA County but not really a part of it at all. I bet a lot of people living in LB don't even know it.

In summer I really am painfully aware how much it sucks to live in tiny hot apt with no yard or trees and nowhere quiet and cool to sit outside. There are very very few places to go that have shade and

Humid and too warm. The cloud cover helps but it's also the humidity.

Everything? Well that would be the idea. I can't even let go of the idea of having a home with beautiful trees and a lush garden. I see what passes for a Home for so many people and it's not very attractive.
