Heavy equipment working on the peninsula in east Long Beach California. Storm surf, erosion and very high tides have all come together and have destroyed some houses here and torn up part of the historic

Standing around instead of surfing? That's me now. My life has gone so far from what it was. It's just so stupid and empty now. One of the worst things is I can't talk out loud about the worst parts. I

It's a little reference to when I had a stone lithography class in college in the 90's The range go black to grey you can get in that process is amazing. This is sumi ink on water color with no printing

Heavy equipment working to to save the Long Beach peninsula homes from flooding

We're having another heat wave with Santa Ana winds. Not so fun.

Can anyone clue me in on what is going on? I got a bunch of red pop ups saying I exceeded my allowance and it would not let me post any photos

Hoping to take some more photos with the bigger camera. There's been a lot of ocean and surf stuff going here to say the least. It's weird not shooting any of it.

Some more high tide flooding up on the beach at Belmont pier

I haven't been taking the surf photos and other shots that I used to take since I hurt my shoulder. Maybe some of you have seen the surf and coastal damage online.

We are currently having flood conditions in Newport Beach/Balboa area. The peninsula east of me is also flooded and homes are being wrecked. This happens at high tide. The water drains back out at low

Neither is my body, my eyes, and skin but that's another story... That first shot was fairly sharp. The rest were out of focus. It underexposes all the time too. Gets full of dirt spots really quick too.

I learned to swim here and how to sail too. back in the 60's

There's a chance of rain on our forecast this weekend. Tropical rain

Erosion and storm damage on the peninsula in Long Beach California. This is something that's been in the making since the very first Homes were ever built here. It's just never a good idea to build on

Not tremendously exciting but it's good news! The heat continues. Slightly cooler today. In a week it might be really nice. A lot of us need that. Not just me. I have always envied people like my ex who

knowing it would be a long time til I could go back. It's just too hot until real fall winter comes.
