Hi everyone! We're down to the last few hours of Splinterlands' season, and it feels like a breeze has moved through Splinterlands' Praetoria, wouldn't you say? We've been given some great eye candy, especially regarding the latest drop on Dr. Blight and I wonder if he's infecting all of you players when it comes to the card market and otherwise. Let's talk about the various points.
So, let's gather around the card table and chat about these cards, shall we? Naturally, my strategy will always be "Rose, wherever you are, you should be over to that other place." HA! Yes, the grass will ALWAYS be more beautiful across the field and not where you see the imperfections up close. I find that my personality tends to look for the good in life. In fact, I was just applauded yesterday for seeing the world through "rose-colored glasses". Ever heard the term? Well, I think it's safe to say, it's easy to see Splinterlands with or without the spectacles in a positive way at the moment! At the same time, I'm finding the FOMO to overwhelm me. HA! :) I want those cards over THERE that I passed up, because I was saving for land and now I'm wishing I had bought lots of cards so I could play higher leagues. GRRRRR!
I promise you though, when land drops, I won't be sorry I've got the land, but I can also promise you, I'll be sorry I don't have the cards! HAHA! It's always the cards! GRUF! :) And yet, I smile, because somehow, it always works out in the end. My strategy now? Chase for some rainbow "pot of golds" and buy more cards.

Spending time in renting when it's sooo much easier just to go buy a card is quite tempting, isn't it? I was trying to do some rentals today, but I don't care what you say, it's just sooo much easier to own the cards. You also have the collection power for the SPS airdrops. HAHA... Gosh, it's like Splinterlands had this figured out or something (giggling).
Honestly, if you OWN the cards, you can go rent them out and make so much passive income. I think if I hear

So what's the next step forward in Splinterlands? I'm so very curious your thoughts! What do you recommend (not giving financial advice of course). What do YOU DO? What do you tell the new player? It's an exciting time and new players now are learning the joys of "resource credits" and all about crypto using energy. It's making me remember the good ole days of being a noob. :) I will say, I'm always going to be the noob here, because I will always feel like I don't quite have enough. I have so far held off my "collection tendencies" but it's like Dr. Blight is haunting my dreams, folks! Aggroed's dress up on the AMA didn't help I might add. MUHAHAH! I just hear Dr. Blight calling out "OHHHH.... you HAVE TO BUY ME..... YOU NEED ME...... GET ME ... MUHAHAHA"

GRRRR. So, where are we at here guys? I never pretended to be an expert but I do get a good giggle out of those who enjoy saying "oh you're a fool if you do this". It says a lot about their character. I wouldn't call anyone here in Crypto a fool, and I certainly wouldn't try to know everyone's end game, but I can promise you this: we've all got an end game. It's just a different end game for each one of us. For some it's buying a sailboat with a cabin and living away from all the political nonsense (just read a post that Splinterlands will be getting him to his dream.... and that's so amazing) and for others it's to be the TOP SPLINTERLANDS player, which is such a beautiful, noble cause to be the best! We should always strive to be our best.
My goal for this season is to be satisfied with what I have, and work to what I want. I hope to get more vouchers, but I'll accept what I can get. I hope to get more cards, but I'll see how that goes as well. I also would like to get an NFT every now and again. Being content with life can be difficult; there's always more, there's always better. The secret to this Splinterlands Market, is to BELIEVE IN THE CAUSE and have the WISDOM TO KNOW what to stand behind. When you see corruption, it's time to move on, and when you see nobility and the attempt to make a good game on the basis of truth and goodness, then you support it. I want to support Splinterlands and believe in this game with my whole heart; so many others do as well.
While people watch the market, I watch people and I see them saying "OHHH look at those drops!" Well, those drops are part of the story, aren't they? And I'm happy to be a part of it as the market then bounces back and rises to the top! Will you stay the course and sail the waves with Splinterlands? I think you should! Now's the time to see what we are all really made of, and I'm enjoying my "rose-colored glasses" and all the vouchers and cards I'll be getting in my future! YIPPPEEE!!
