I’ve decided that since I’m still a novice on this journey through Splinterlands, I’m going to have an occasional post where I’m just asking you for advice on what’s the next best step for a novice to take? That is if any of you are interested in sharing? I don't mean your personal strategies of course, but I’m sure SO many people are wanting to know what they should do with their Splinterlands account, and maybe you can help them. So here’s a chance for you to put whatever you like in the comments, and it will reach some new folks, and they may appreciate your advice so much that they will go read more about you on your page! That’s my hope anyway! I really want to help build this community as much as I can.
Now that we’re in a new season of Splinterlands, I need your advice on what I should do next with my earnings. I purchased some cards yesterday on the market and sure enough I made 20% in one day so I’m wondering, should I buy more cards?
Should I rent cards? I have these cards now, should I rent these cards or hold onto them and see the value increase? I’m thinking that I need to rent some of these cards to help increase that DEC, but maybe I want to go ahead and turn around and sell them? Would you say you’re seeing your all card values increase in the long run? It seems like they are, but of course I’m new to the game.
What’s your strategy for the wins this season? Are you racing to the top? Are you more interested in the quests? Are you attempting both, and are you successful with it (or have you been in the past)? I’m not sure I’ve got all these strategies down yet. I ended in the Silver League last season, but I’m not sure I can really go beyond that and if I WANT to go beyond that, I need more power and better cards, so does this send me back to the market to buy them? Or do you all just rent them as you get closer to the end of the season?
So please if you have a moment and feel like sharing a little tip of the day, a friendly thought or answer some of these questions for the novice player, I’d love to read them and comment on them and hopefully others will see them as well and we can just continue to help one another.
