19 Because I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want, that's what I do.
20 And if I do what I do not want, I do not do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
21 So, wanting to do good, I find this law: that evil is in me.
22 For according to the inner man, I delight in the law of God;
23 but I see another law in my members, which rebels against the law of my mind, and which takes me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.
24 !! Miserable of me! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
25 Thank you I give to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So, with my mind I serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7: 19-25
I definitely have to say:
THANKS GOD
Because if it were not for his help and the sacrifice of Christ we would still be slaves of sin and unable to be free from so much evil that he condemns us for our sinful conduct.
