Mass Indoctrination|4th December, 2024
Scriptures: Isaiah 44:14–18, 1 Peter 4:3, Romans 1:25, 1 Corinthians 8:7, Revelations 22:8–9, Acts 1:13, John 1:1
We should have honor and reverence for the Holy Spirit. God is rich in mercy and will grant it to us in areas where we default. But to the best of our capability, we should ensure that we do not sin against the Holy Spirit. It is a very serious crime to sin against the Holy Spirit. This is why we should be cautious of our acts.
Jesus left with us the Holy Spirit that He may comfort us. Before the beginning of the world, Jesus Christ was in existence.
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Initially I used to think the Word being stated in this scripture was pronounced as the world untill I read it myself. God the father wasn't alone in the creation of the world, He has the Word with Him as well. And the scripture below tells us who the Word that is being talked about in John 1:1 is.
Revelation 19:13 - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
So we see that the Word that the first passage was referring to is Christ Jesus. Christ was the Word that was with God in the very beginning. Having this knowledge, we should stick to His doctrines. And for those who indulge in anything aside from the teachings of Christ should forsake them.
