It is not good for a believer to insight in strive. This does not set a good example to people who are looking at us to be Christians. The way we live our lives can either make people believe us as true christians and draw them closer to God or make them doubt our Christianity and drive them even farther from God.
We shouldn't be seen promoting violence. Misunderstandings between one another should not lead to physical expression is anger. We should model the lifestyle of Jesus Christ. All through his stay on Earth He was known for peace. If we are following His footsteps we'll do the same.
Sometimes, as human, it may be be all that easy. But when we rely on the help of God and His Holy Spirit we can achieve this.
The Bible told us in Galatians 5:21 about the gifts of the spirit. One of them is tolerance. We should be tolerable. Another one of patience. We should also be patient with people even though they can be difficult at times.
