In our lives, we do have many stages and each of them have its own charm and uniqueness. But it mostly depends on the people surrounding you, the company you are having and it does have direct impact on your lives. This is my opinion and what I learnt and experienced form my life till now. I am glad that my life till now is great and that is because of my family and my friends. Yes, friends do play an important role in our lives. Specially, the childhood friends, when you are building up your mind and learning good and bad both from others.

In my school days, I used to be a quiet and serious type of child. It was when we came back to Pakistan from Nepal after spending four years there, I used to miss my Nepal friends and didn’t make any new friends in Pakistan in school time. But then these two devils came in my life. I used to be a front seater in my class and focus more in studies whereas these two were just enjoying their time in school and didn’t focus on studies. One day teacher changed their seating and put them in my company that’s how we become friends. We three were totally different from each other, our way of thinking and mindsets were totally different and maybe that was the reason we became friends. We always argue with each other and never accept each others point. But this thing increased our involving in each other and we used to spend more time together after school. I used to help them in the studies at home due to which we all cleared our exams with good marks. Our friendship became stronger and we used to spent time together a lot even after school life.

We used to have a strong bond and I really miss those times. Sibtain and Adeel, they both were the only friend of mine in Pakistan. Sibtain was a jolly person and he never took anything serious, always joking around. his company is like a gem, always makes you laugh and cheer up the moment. It was God gifted, the talent of making anyone laugh is not common thing. I was a bit serious type and do not take part in vulgar conversations and they both used to make fun of me on this thing. There are lots of stories and moments we shared together.

When I was leaving for Egypt, that night, we spent together at sea side. Thinking about our futures and discussing what we would be doing after 5-10 years. suddenly, police officers came as it was dark night and there were no one around, they interrogated us and advised to leave the place as it is risky and dangerous to be around this place after midnight. They also followed us until we came to the main road. We were a bit afraid of the situation but later, when we realized that its all good and they were not there to harm us, we started joking about the scene. The truth is, we all got scared of those police officers when they approached us and started interrogation. I was like what if they put us in Jail with no reason, which they usually do to take out some money from our families. I would have missed my flight to Egypt.

Those golden memories are awesome, we had a lot of fun together in our lives but time is not always the same. Sibtain is no more with us, he passed away in 2016 in just the age of 32 due to the heart attack. I just cant believe it, I never thought of this thing. I was in shock for a couple of months. That is life, now we just have those memories. I really miss him badly. Adeel, my other friend, last time we met was like an year ago. Our lives got so busy, we didn’t get time to meet and maybe we avoid it when we get time, because we miss Sibtain a lot. We both got busy with our lives and our families.

We spent more than 15 years together and it was a great time to remember. No one is going to live forever so just live the way you like and make most of it by making others happy and do what makes you feel happy. This was the philosophy of my late friend. He did the same and lived his life with the way he wanted and also made the people around him smiling and happy always. He was truly a great friend. Now, me and Adeel are in other stage of life where we are focusing more on our families and maybe we both are changed a lot because of our responsibilities and what time needs from us. I used to say that I wont change but the truth is everyone of us keeps on changing but we don’t realize the fact. The fact is time heals all kinds of wounds and it also depends on us to move on with the memories and make our present more memorable.
