As an entrepreneur of a few businesses that I have currently. There is one thing that I have learned that is the secret or the key to having a successful business. That is knowing how to sell. You must be an excellent salesperson. If you are not then you must hire someone who you can trust and is an excellent salesperson. That is not easy. Because those two traits in one person is rare. Someone that you do not know of and they do not know you, for there to be trust between the two of you is very hard. With that, the salesperson who you hire the probability of them being a very good salesperson is less than 1 in 5. I follow the 80/20 rule and with my experience, when it comes to sales, it is more the like the 90/10 rule.
So it comes back to, YOU. You have to be a excellent salesperson. Unfortunately not everyone can be a good effective salesperson. So now you know why most businesses fail. I gotta go, I have some selling to do.
