CCC's Street Art Contest #208 ~ Alzaia Gallery in the tunnel above the Silje River
Hi to all!
Today I was going through my gallery on my phone to delete some photos and make room for new ones. And I came across photos that were taken in Treviso in October 2021. I thought, why not write about this wonderful gallery in a small tunnel? Here, young artists always exhibit their works for passers-by. These paintings or photos make you stop and look at the exhibition... each exhibition has its own character and makes you think about what the surrounding world is for me, for you, for all of us...
A small bicycle-pedestrian tunnel under the Ponte Goba bridge is adapted for an open-air museum-gallery. Young artists and art school students exhibit their works every Sunday at Galeria Alzaia. These are paintings, photographs, installations. Live exhibitions and small concerts are often held here.
I cycled through this tunnel to work. The first time I got into the tunnel, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I did not expect that an art gallery can be made in a small tunnel. Then I stopped by every week to see a new exhibition. By the way, a bicycle-pedestrian path stretches along the Silje River.
The faces of the people in the portraits are drawn so skillfully! Each of them looks into your soul, into your heart with its eyes...
The gallery was created with the support of the art association Subculture of the city of Treviso. Organizers and members of the association strive to beautify and enrich this small town and attract more knowledge of the beauty of every city resident. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to see new exhibitions and enrich myself with new impressions every time!
There are many great places around. I try to stop and look at what I think is worth paying attention to. Raise your head and look at the facades of the houses, at the walls painted by street artists, which become much more attractive and colorful! The world is wonderful! We know how to notice it!
Thank you for reading and viewing my photos!
Good Bye!
