Greetings everyone!
Today I had half a day off from work. I decided to go to the supermarket to buy some fruit. And what was my surprise when I saw how men were loading chimeras, that's what I call these strange sculptures, onto a big truck. But now I will explain what we are talking about.
In May of this year, I started working at Vilaggio dei fiori. And I often used this road to go to the Coop, it's called a supermarket, to shop. Immediately, I came across a house on this street, which made me stop my bike. Opening my eyes wide, I began to look around the yard and the house itself. You ask me, what impressed me so much? Wherever possible and impossible there were statues! On the stairs, under them, on the terrace, on the walls, in the garden, in the yard, there were whole compositions of statues. Sometimes these statues were as if from different worlds and did not connect with each other. It seems that this house did not belong to people, but to these stone monsters.

Сьогодні я мала пів дня вільного від роботи. Я вирішила поїхати в супермаркет купити собі фруктів. І яке було моє здивування коли я побачила як на велику вантажівку чоловіки вантажать химери, я так називаю ці дивні скульптури. Але, зараз поясню про що йде мова.
У травні цього року я почала працювати у Vilaggio dei fiori. І часто цією дорогою їздила в Coop, це так називається супермаркет, робити покупки. Зразу ж мені по цій вулиці зустрівся будинок, який заставив мене зупинити мій велосипед. Я широко відкривши очі почала оглядати подвір'я та і сам будинок. Запитаєте мене, що ж так вразило мене? Скрізь, де тільки можливо і не можливо були статуї! На сходах, під ними, на терасі, на стінах, в саду, на подвір'ї стояли цілі композиції зі статуй. Деколи ці статуї були ніби з різних світів і не в'язалися між собою. Таке враження, що цей будинок належав не людям, а цим кам'яним монстрам.
Who was the owner of this house and why he decorated his house and yard with these statues can only be guessed. I thought to myself that it is possible that an amateur sculptor expresses his ideas in this way. Or a passionate lover of fabulous sculptures collects all these dinosaurs and other chimeras. If you look carefully, chimeras live inside the house. I can't imagine life among so many fireplace cats and frogs.
Хто був хазяїном цього дому і чому обставив цими статуями свій дім та подвір'я можна тільки здогадуватися. Я собі подумала, що це можливо скульптор любитель таким чином виражає свої ідеї. Або пристрасний любитель казкових скульптур колекціонує всіх цих динозаврів та інших химер. Коли добре роздивитися, то і всередині будинку живуть химери. Я не уявляю життя серед такої кількості камінних котів та жаб.
And today I see devastation in the yard and in the house. The windows are covered with plywood. There is no statue of a dog fighting a frog, no bust of a beautiful lady guarding the main entrance to the house. The terrace is empty, the walls are empty as well. A triumphal arch and a blackened statue of a dinosaur ridden by a frog remained in the yard. Away in the yard, a girl is still sitting on the lawn made of stone...soon, probably they will all leave this yard...or not, as they are too heavy or unnecessary...it is sad to look at such a picture today. ..
І сьогодні я бачу опустошіння на подвір'ї та в будинку. Вікна забиті фанерою. Немає статуї пса, що бореться з жабою, ні погруддя прекрасної дами, які охороняли парадний вхід до будинку. Тераса пуста, стіни опустіли також. На подвір'ї залишилась тріумфальна арка та почорніла статуя динозавра, якого осідлала жаба. Осторонь на подвір'ї все ще сидить на галявині з каменю дівчина... скоро, мабуть і вони всі покинуть це подвір'я... або ні, так як надто важкі або не потрібні... сумно дивитись на таку картину сьогодення...
