Greetings to all lovers of gardening and floriculture!
I have a great desire to decorate the house where I live. Since my place of residence is now on the third floor, I was not destined to have my own garden. But I have a large terrace where I can arrange a corner of paradise for myself. Every Wednesday there is a small bazaar near my house where, among other goods, there is always a market with flowers and gardeners with plants. I never pass this slaughterhouse. I always buy flowers to decorate my terrace.
Last year I bought five cacti. They flourished. But two of them did not survive the winter... this winter was harsher than all the previous ones. And again I began to look closely at the shelves in supermarkets where cacti were displayed. I recently bought two beautiful cacti and was really waiting for them to bloom. My friend Lyuba sent me photos of her flowering cacti a long time ago. And she assured me to be patient. And recently, two of my succulents released small buds and I watched them increase in size every day. When the sun shone brighter, the flowers bloomed. I was very happy about it.
In the spring, I visited the flower festival in Oriyago. On one of the counters, I saw vases that were sold for 1 euro each because they were brought in a little. I decided to buy one with Basil, the second with sage, and the third with thyme. At home, I watered the flower pots every day and they started to grow better and I was happy every time, seeing how beautiful the flowers were.
These plants are also very useful. I use them in cooking. Spicy aromatic herbs enhance the taste of the dish and add their unique notes.

A laurel tree grows in a large pot on my terrace. In a year, it grew up nicely and became luxurious. I dry the leaves and use them to prepare the first and second dishes. This year's mint is very beautiful, green and fragrant. As soon as you touch her hands, a fresh mint aroma immediately spreads. I add sprigs of mint to fish dishes and lemonades. In hot weather, lemonade with lemon and mint refreshes the best.
My daughter brought me coriander seeds from Ukraine. I sowed this seed for the second time in a large pot. Every day I watched how small strong sprouts came out of the ground. A little more and I will be able to use cilantro greens in salads and soups. This taste is unique and I really like it.
На моїй терасі я поставила вазонок з гранню, що цвіте червоними китицями. Коли я прокидаюся вранці то бачу яскраво червоні кулі герані і жовтогарячі чорнобривці. В мене зразу піднімається настрій і стає радісно на душі. Особливо чорнобривці, тому що вони нагадують мені про моє село в Україні
I take care of my flowers. I always water them on time and loosen the soil. When the weather is hot, I move the pots to a shaded place. Flowers feel my care for them and please me with their flowering
