Hello Hive!
My name is Rory Laird. I’m a local musician, based out of Wilmington, NC. I put a 3Speak account together to host videos to share with local venues, but may use the Hive account as well to share events or something.
I don’t plan on being too active on Hive since most of my playing will be local, but then again, you never know!
I moved to Wilmington with my beautiful family in July of 2022. We had been here a few times before and loved it, so now it has become our home.
Several years ago, I played in a few bands, Running from Roscoe, and Hot Ice Cream. After that I did solo gigs for a while, but eventually I slowed down and stopped pretty much all-together.
One of the first places I hope to play is at the End of Days Distillery. My wife and I often go there when we get a night away, and while I’ve enjoyed the other performers I’ve heard, ots really made me want to start playing out again.
Anyway, short introduction I guess. Thanks for checking me out, I hope to post some decent music once I get started up here.
