RESERVOIR JEULIKAT
TAMAN JEULIKAT INDAH That's what is written on the nameplate of this tourist park, and as the name implies, this park is really very beautiful with a fairly large area, where hundreds or even thousands of types of plants are found in it, and the interior design of the courtyard is very cool, various kinds of uniqueness is in this place, starting from the building, the seats in the garden area, the huts, the flowers and the rides, I will summarize everything one by one, and let's start this journey
More or less this park has an area of more than two hectares, you can certainly imagine how much time I spent exploring this place, as soon as I passed the entrance gate, an iden building was clearly visible on the left side, it was a toilet with a unique building design. , where the top part of this building is a dove cage, so unique, this toilet is even a location that is often used for pre-wedding photo shoots, sounds strange, but it's true
At first glance it seems that there is a couple of bride and groom who happen to be doing a photo shoot in the building that I mentioned earlier, and right in front of it there is a fish pond that is no longer used, but its beauty is still clearly visible, the structure of the building is cool and also unique, only I don't see it anymore. active, that's because this tourist spot is already empty of visitors, I myself am also surprised, why is a place as beautiful as this less attracted by people, while the nature is still well preserved, clean, neat and certainly very beautiful,
A prayer room and a hut with a nature theme are also in front of this building, and here are some views of the garden that I took from the top of the building and from the side, look at this real paradise on earth
That's a picture I took from the second floor of the building and also from the side, the green trees and flowers radiate a real beauty, while on the top floor, as far as my eye can see only the beauty is visible, this place is very clean and the layout is also neat , a flower garden has just been cleaned, they have placed some bongsai plants right in the front yard, and this is the garden that will be seen on the left as soon as you enter the location of this tourist spot, a nice welcome, isn't it?
And on the right side of the entrance, there is also a traditional house with a large yard, as well as various plants that beautify the atmosphere, and I have reviewed this traditional house in detail yesterday, so this time I will only share other pictures, and I will submit for you to hear his opinion
A traditional pounder is in front of this traditional house, it used to be used to pound rice to make flour, and the way it works is like a game, one person steps on the end, as I practiced above, and another person is in charge of inserting the mill , at the end of which there is a cannon for pounding, that's more or less about this traditional flour pounder
Now we move on and place one by one whatever is in this place, for clarity I will give points and explain them,
- Natural scenery throughout the park area
I walked around for about 4 hours here, and that's the various views that can be seen from all over the park area, before I forgot to say that this park is a reservoir whose initial purpose was to store water for farmers around this location, but because of its strategic location, this reservoir was changed and conjured into an extraordinary recreation area, look at the beauty of this real world paradise, a minute has passed, the loss must be felt😅, that's the term
The green grass is increasingly visible during the rainy season like this, and to care for all this of course requires a large fee, the management of this place takes an entrance ticket of IDR 5,000 per person which is of course used for maintenance of recreational parks, as well as IDR 3,000 vehicle parking fees, with the total cost of that alone we can already enjoy this extraordinary natural beauty
Regardless of the view, various other facilities are provided, such as cafes and rides for games, as well as the layout and seats that are scattered throughout the park area
- Cafe, and Fish pond designs scattered all over
This is the only cafe that remains today, there used to be several cafes in the park area, but due to the lack of visitors, the cafe was closed and one is left, the courtyard of this cafe is quite large, with an interior page that is also full of ornamental plants, a high level of creativity is practiced here, you can see the results for yourself
Apart from the cafe, several fish ponds that are no longer in use are also scattered all over with different beauties, the designs and carvings found in these fish ponds are all cool and take on a mixed architectural design, collaboration with nature is not something that is uncommon. easy, but what you see above is a rare work of architecture, and very beautiful
Apart from that, several tables made of concrete can also be seen approaching all corners, I also took pictures of some of them, here's for more details
- Suspension bridges and seating
A Dutch-style suspension bridge was also built to cross the reservoir, the length of this bridge is about 100 meters with a tian of more than 8 meters, but the boards used look very weathered because of age, so I don't dare to walk too far, afraid of falling and not can swim 😅
This bridge is actually not that old, but due to lack of maintenance the boards are starting to get brittle and a little dangerous even though there is iron for support
Apart from that, several huts with unique shapes are also scattered throughout the area, because this park is indeed very wide, that's why the huts were built as a resting place, and still with the theme of nature around it
The wood used to build this hut is also high quality wood, such as teak and jepara, with carvings on it that make this hut also look beautiful and comfortable, even one of the huts is deliberately made above the water, a medium-sized fish pond in underneath, unfortunately the pond is no longer in use, otherwise I would definitely be sitting there baiting the existing fish
- Flowers and plants scattered throughout the garden area
To prove my words, I deliberately share lots of pictures of flowers and plants. Previously I said that there are thousands of plants here, and nominated by palms and various flowers. I took a photo, you can imagine for yourself how many flowers are here
There are also water rides, but when I came here, it was late afternoon and the caretakers of this game were not at the location anymore, they had gone home, so I couldn't enjoy this water game, rowing a duck boat seemed really fun, and I had to try something that's another time, to give it a try and browse through the bits I haven't had a chance to look at yet
Spending 4 hours here is not enough, I'm not satisfied at all, even though it's very enjoyable, the curiosity about the natural beauty here still crosses my mind until now, I imagine what it would be like if I photographed the sunset from this place, it looks like it would be amazing As usual, the wind blows and the cool atmosphere is of course an encouragement for anyone who visits here
