It doesn't realize that we have entered the sixth day of this year, time goes by so fast, it feels like just yesterday I posted about my plants here, but it turns out that it has passed a few days ago, and this time I'm back to share some of the latest updates from my plants. , at the beginning of this year some of my plants gave me a warm welcome and it was very pleasant, let's get started
A few days ago I saw that my banana had put out a bunch (banana heart) that was so big, even almost half a meter in length, and that made me very happy, this banana tree is really quite fertile, the leaves are quite dense and the color is bright too once, that proves that this banana tree grows well, before, I have posted about this banana tree, and at that time he was still young, and in this new year, he greeted me with a special welcome
The fruit has started to appear in the last two days, I counted about 8 banana combs that have been seen, but it seems like the fruit hasn't all appeared yet, the banana heart still looks very big because, I really can't wait to see it in the next few days
This is a type of banana barangan Or what we usually call chicken bananas, and often these bananas are used as a dessert in various parts of the world, maybe the only difference is in the name, I don't know how you call this banana, it must have a very sweet taste and also the texture of the meat soft, that's what makes this banana also get the nickname as the king of bananas in my place, it's easy to find it in the market, but the price is quite expensive, and my principle, if you can grow it yourself, why buy it, the harvest in your own garden is more satisfying than harvest in someone's garden isn't it😅, let's see what will happen to these bananas in the next few days, I will post it back when these bananas can be harvested
Talking about the harvest, today I also picked a papaya fruit and I enjoyed it with my family, the taste is very sweet even though it's still a little hard
I have several papaya trees all over the area of the house with different types, and what I picked was a type of honey papaya that was crossed with ordinary papaya, but I also don't really understand this, and the taste is not much different from other honey papayas, it's just that because what I picked was not 100% ripe, it was a little hard but still sweet and soft, enjoying it in the afternoon while playing on my cellphone I don't think it's a bad idea
While picking this papaya fruit, I glanced at a few of my chilies that were still left, before I said that during the rainy season yesterday all my chilies were damaged, it turns out that there are still a few more stalks left, instead they have borne fruit, I myself didn't expect it at all , how could they survive, while the others were all dead
The grass has started to cover this chili area, well I haven't been to this side of the garden for a long time, because I thought all my chilies were dead, it turns out that there are some stems that have already borne fruit, the fruit also looks healthy, only the stems grow unnaturally, short and also not much fruit, but I'm still grateful and tomorrow I plan to clean up the grass and also give some fertilizer so that the chilies can grow even better
A good welcome at the beginning of the year, how can plants that I thought were dead grow back, 😅
It's not legal if I post plants if there are no flowers, that's because my home page is full of flowers, and this time I will share flowers that I have never posted before
Right in my front yard there is a bunch of this needle flower, which has a Latin name Ixora chinensis Which my mother deliberately planted near the fence, it was intended to make a fence from these flowers, they are easy to shape and trim, and their beauty is no less attractive than other flowers, their leaves are like tea trees, and the flowers are like needles and have juice in them, that's what makes this flower quite pleased by the butterfly, look at that beautiful butterfly, she flies here and there to suck the juice from this flower,
This butterfly is large, and out of curiosity I found out its name, the source said that it was a priest's butterfly Papilio memnon Its wings are big and also long, maybe that's what causes the experts to give it a name like that, I'm also the first time to see this type of butterfly, it's really beautiful, and also a little docile, I easily approached it, but because of the wind blowing quite fast so I did not take pictures at close range
Besides these flowers, there is also another plant which is also starting to take on a beautiful shape. This is also a type of ornamental flower with a Latin name Syzygium myrtifolium
Red bud flowers, that's what we call them, and these plants are also very beautiful when their leaves have started to turn red as above, unfortunately I was a bit in a hurry at that time, so I didn't take many pictures, maybe next time I will take a different picture many more
Here, these ornamental plants are very easy to find in people's homes, because they can thrive even without special care, and besides that, besides being for decoration, these plants are also often used as natural dyes for food, decoctions of leaf shoots. the red one turns out to be useful apart from being a decoration, the tree is also quite large and would be more beautiful if planted in the front yard of the house
