Sure thing Stella.
I think it's possible that my observations about men and women could be accurate without pidgeonholing 'all women are like X"
I just think the incentives and power distribution, and cultural roles, and fears and coping mechanisms of men and women are different. And as a result, they respond differently and interpret things differently.
I also agree with you about your taking responsibility for your own behavior in terms of not clearly delineating boundaries for yourself, and being too accomodating within an abusive power dynamic.
That's not something anyone ought to do.
IMO the psychological history of gender and sex is so vast -- there's really no use in complaining about any of it.
It's just kind of perilous to navigate sometimes, and it sounds like you experienced that.
I don't doubt that my daughter's mom feels the same way about me as I do about her.
To her I am no doubt emotionally abusive and narcissistic, and she believes she made so many accommodations for me, etc.
.:.
Then it's this really shitty contest, about who accomodated who, and who is gaslighting / blaming who, and who doesn't listen to who, and I just end up screaming "shut the fuck up, I hate how your brain works, you're a terrible person." -- etc.
Then I'm the bad guy -- and nothing constructive happens, and no resolutions are ever found.
This is like a really common pattern in our society.
I hate it, but I can't see any solutions.

I'm glad you're not bitter any more and that you've gotten into being alone.
I'm glad art exists as an outlet for emotion.
Etc.
Thanks for being interested in what I have to say about investments. Apologies if this turned more relationship opinion piece,
Probably a more interesting challenge response might be -- "Biggest Failures in Your Business Attempts."
I have quite a few of those.
If you'd like, I challenge you to an article like that, and I would be happy to share mine.
