I agree with you.

I think it's more like Project by Project -- Person by Person.

So, if I do a project, and it earns X - HIVE / ETH / USD -

And it attracts ~5-120 users.

Some percentage of those are going to self-select to join HIVE, if my value proposition is strong enough for them.

Musicians, Artists, Writers, Yoga Instructors, Models, Photographers, Videographers, Animators, Ecological Builders, Game Devs, etc.

It starts with the communities that are already here.

The problem is that many of the people who are in these communities are only focused myopically on:

I made this, and I posted it on HIVE and I earned X from HIVE upvotes.

This is not the goal.

The goal is to earn your money in USD and ETH, and to simply let HIVE accumulate until an opportune investment appreciation time. This is like a more perennial version of harvesting from HP.

People are bringing the short term, paycheck to paycheck, what can I score within this little ecosystem type attitude to their posts, and that's the wrong attitude to have, For a vast majority of content creators that use HIVE.

The problem is that people need to think in terms of projects and services, rather than clever posts with interesting pictures.

Once people start thinking of their 1000 true fans, and participating within multiple economies and multiple ecosystems, you can sort of pick and choose what platforms offer what benefits, and then cater to them.

Kickstarter for example:

• Excellent for Major and Minor Project Development.
• Pre-existing community of shoppers.
• Reputable platform.
• USD.
• Legit Customer Service, and community of creators.
• Campaign Tracking tools.

Use this for small experimental project structures, or major project attempts.

Patreon:

• One of the few [arguably the most meaningful] USD - Monthly, Automated / Reoccuring Micropayment system / Subscription.
• Paywall Structure.
• Legit Customer Service and Community of creators.

This is basically a private Blog, where you can collect people who are interested in Subscription USD payments.

I would put onlyfans in here as well, for models.

HIVE:

• Ability to Post, Comment and Engage -- And Incentivize said actions.
• Ability to form community groups.
• Pre-existing Community of Crypto Savvy people.

Use HIVE as an audience engagement platform / dev blog for the projects that you feed into the platforms listed above.

ETH:

• Defi
• NFTs for Music and Art
• Game Dev.
• Uniswap -- Private Currencies. // Community Currencies. [Basically a more powerful version of Hive Engine.]
• Colony.io -- And DAO Guild Training and Bank Structures.
• Animation Via Golem
• Highly Experimental Crowdfunding Projects.

The challenge is to build a project whose financial structure is a synergy of the above elements, And THEN bring that project to Twitter / etc.

Then people will self select where they want to go - and some of them will come to HIVE.

The cool thing about that breakdown above is that each of them offer something unique to the other.

I just think it's a way more sophisticated and interesting way of doing business than just hoping for upvotes on HIVE, and then cashing that HIVE out right away.
