I'm also going to send you a bit of HIVE. You ought to power up half, and figure out how to convert half to Ethereum.

The procedure I recommend for this is getting a metamask wallet:

Once you've got your metamask wallet, you'll want to write down your seed phrase / password on a piece of paper, and put it with your Private Keys and password from your Hive wallet -- somewhere in physical reality, where you put important documents.

Then, you'll need to take some of the HIVE I send you and figure out how to use Blocktrades.us

Your goal ought to be to send the HIVE from your HIVE address @polyannie -> to your metamask wallet address.

The top of your metamask ought to say "PolyAnnie's ERC 271 ETH" and when you click on it, it will say "copy to clipboard."

This is your destination address.

So you will basically be sending HIVE from your wallet, to blocktrades, with a special memo that you'll get when you go to blocktrades.

On blocktrades you will tell them your metamask wallet, and then when you send your HIVE to blocktrades with the appropriate memo, they will convert your HIVE to ETH, and you will receive the ETH in your Metamask wallet, and the HIVE will be deducted from your account.

You'll also want to figure out how to go onto coinbase and deposit ETH from your metamask address.

And then how to Trade ETH / USD.

And then how to Withdraw USD to your bank account.

I recommend using pro.coinbase because their fees are lower.

If you ever want to add USD to your pro.coinbase account, you can use ACH bank transfer Deposit USD.

If you ever wanted to buy HIVE and power up.

You could do the opposite path:

ACH Bank -> USD / ETH Trade -> ETH Wallet [on pro.coinbase] to HIVE Wallet [@polyannie] swap on blocktrades.

Will transfer you out of ETH and into HIVE. Then you can Power up that HIVE to stake it on your account for 90 days.
