Now, I have to do this through NFTShowroom.
I shouldn't have to do that.
I should have a wallet with a link to my available NFTs for trade or exchange or sale, accessible through Peakd.
I should be able to respond, with a click, and select an NFT to award to you, just like I can tip you.
.:.
@kristyglas uses dragons to reward engagement on her blog. If you comment worthy, you get a dragon NFT.
@thisnewgirl has NFTs that are used in a game that she organizes. If I buy an Alchemist's Table, and mix certain ingredients, I get some sort of magic spell.
All of that is done manually by collectors through NFTShowroom, and the transfer is done manually through NFTShowroom by the artist.
.:.
We have Memes and Images and GIFS that are shared in comments. If I own an NFT, I ought to be able to use it in comments, which creates a need for artists on HIVE to create meme libraries, and it incentivizes collectors on HIVE to collect these NFTs so they can award and use them.
Similar to the !ENGAGE tokens or !BEER.
These ideas are where you give engage or beer tokens.
I should be able to give NFTs.
I should be able to sell NFTs.
I should be able to display NFTs.
Collectors ought to be able to do these things as well.
You can think of this like creating, displaying, sending and selling "memes" or "postcards" or "collectable prints" -- regularly on posts.
It will normalize NFTs on NFTShowroom, and make their adoption throughout HIVE more wide. It will increase the economic flow of HIVE toward artists, and it will connect the economic activity on NFTShowroom, to the Utility of the HIVE Blockchain, through the front end of PeakD.
.:.
The other interesting things that can be done are limited access posts.
If you have a specific NFT, you can have access to this post / livestream.
Another example of a possibility would be Proof of Burn - meaning if you own some NFT, and you Prove that you Burn it, then it can trigger some game.
Such as If you prove to me that you burned that NFT, then I will send you a print.
Or, if you prove that you burned a handful of spell components in the alchemist game, then you'll gain access to this rare custom art spell NFT.
.:.
You basically just need to help make NFTs more accessible by artists. so that having a PeakD account that you use to engage on HIVE -- automatically opts you in to participate in the NFTShowroom economy, without NFTShowroom needing to be something that people opt into participating within on a separate site.
NFTShowroom needs more use cases, and collectors, because right now there are an excess of artists looking for uses and collectors on NFTShowroom.
.:.
Finally, ETH doesn't have this, because ETH doesn't have something as cool as Peakd / HIVE blockchain.
In ETH Cryptoart, I have a metamask wallet, and if I want to find out what is inside of it, I need to go onto opensea,io, and then I can see what exists there, and then I can pay [too expensive gas] to send it to other artists or collectors, if I can find their address.
HIVE doesn't have to deal with this bullshit, because HIVE has 0 cost transfers, 0 cost burns, and easily accessible addresses.
However, nobody knows about NFTShowroom on HIVE except for a small group of artists, and some early early adopters from ETH, who were willing to make the jump over, due to gas costs.
The economic vitality of NFTShowroom is extremely immature.
But,
If I could casually see my NFTWallet, and then pick one, and then send it to you as easily as I could send you a tip, or make a comment.
Or if I could make a post, and brag about my latest acquisition as a collector.
Or, If I am an artist, and I can gamify my latest creations.
Or, If I am running a contest, and I want to giveaway to reward engagement or actions.
etc.
Peakd should have seamless operation with NFTShowroom, in order to give NFTShowroom economy highest bandwidth possible.
You will revolutionize Cryptoart on HIVE.
