It would be like this:
Alien Art HIVE User Base is ~1000 Subs, with 199 Active Users.
So, the question is How much HP does this community have access to, in its regularly distributed Curation Pool.
If we also ask the same thing of OnchainArt, and Sketchbook and Pixelart:
subscribers/hive-174301
activities/hive-156509
subscribers/hive-102502
Something to the effect of:
Communities with more HP, are healthier and more attractive for people to participate within, so an objective of community members ought to be to build HP so that the community they are a part of is more valuable, so that there is more incentive for others to join that community.
This is an onboarding strategy for Higher End Artists, who are more selective about where they spend their time, because of their awareness for the need of compensation.
What we have here is a metric for how financially successful each of these artists is with their art career.
In order to increase the amount of HP avaialble to that community, those artists need to be securing resources from elsewhere in order to pay for their cost of living. This moves the artists of that community toward doing projects that are monetized outside of HIVE, and then allowing the rewards that are accrued for activity and engagement and curation to build on themselves, instead of being removed from the system.
It also allows for purchasing and powering up HIVE, in order to build up that community.
The benefits of this approach are as follows:
If the culture of communities can shift toward this style of creative project approach -- NFTShowroom will increase in Value, HIVE will increase in value, and Communities will increase in value.
In addition to that, the artists who are able to do this will also find their businesses are more lucrative for themselves, that they are open to engaging with more collaborators who are actually interested in working with them, and that their prestige and following will grow on HIVE and beyond HIVE.
The crucial takeaways:
Communities must be challenged to do these things, and those challenges must have adequate reward [@elgeko] - or more sustainably -- enable the participants to catch their own fish, as it were, so they can begin to build on those skills.
.:.
Ultimately, I think we have enough people on HIVE to make all of the changes that are required to dramatically increase the value of HIVE, and to make HIVE and @NFTShowroom attractive to the sorts of whales, collectors, and high end creators and curation projects that will be needed to propel the ecosystem into orbit.
But to sustainably do that, we are going to need fuel, and that fuel is a gamified, incentive aligned reason for community members to power up HP -- pure and simple.
That means we are going to have to focus on rewarding, challenging and engaging with HIVE artists in a way that helps them to build a business which allows them to realize the benefits of staking on HIVE.
