LOST, not to be confused wit The Lost who also has Michael from LOST in both programs is one of my favorite TV Programs and have been watching it lately. I miss this time of TV Programing, due to the lack of social media being involved with it as it's literally from a different time, a time when TV had an average of 26 episodes and ran from 5-10 years if you were lucky and or branched off to new TV Programs entirely (Stargate Saga, Jag, Law and Order and many others). Alas, this series only ran for 6 seasons and although it was a running series, each episode was self contained. The 1st 5 series were about a story of people whose lives were entwined before during and after as was season 6 but I found this series as more for the fans ability to find closure but was excellent in it's own right.
LOST takes place on an island (Filmed in Hawaii) where a bunch of survivors of a plane crash find themselves, when I have been asked what is LOST about, I say its about action, thrilling but with backdoor heart and belief in ones self. The main thing to realize when watching is the island is incidental this is a story or a multitude of stories about peoples lives and how they interact with others and how choices play out.
The score of LOST is amazing and catches each of the characters perfectly and subtly, and is quite emotional, before LOST I only ever cried during war films.
