As far as i understood, Steemit's stake won't be migrated to the new chain. Just imagine what happens if Steemit will power down today and move funds away into exchanges. Exchanges will honor their customers when a fork happens.

Other option for Justin "washing" his Steem tokens when sending them into exchanges and back into anonymous accounts, which will benefit from a fork as well. Just saying...
