Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Alright, so today I wanted to do another Splinterlands card spotlight, and honestly, this one caught my attention immediately.
The card is, Fizbo the Fabulous.
Now first of all, this card looks absolutely ridiculous.
Like seriously, when I first saw Fizbo, I thought it was some kind of joke card. But then I checked the market prices and realized something crazy.
The Gold Foil version costs around $200.
Yeah. Two hundred dollars for a clown.
At that point I knew I had to look deeper into this card.
Looking at the stats, Fizbo isn't exactly what I expected.
Here are the max level stats:
Mana Cost: 6
Attack: 3 Magic
Health: 4
Armor: 2
Speed: 3
Honestly, these stats don't scream "insanely expensive card."
In fact, if someone showed me these stats without telling me the price, I probably would've guessed this was just another decent support legendary.
But then I looked at the abilities.
And that's where things got interesting.
Tank Heal: Each round, restores 1/3 of max health to the allied unit in the first position.
This is probably the biggest reason why Fizbo can be so valuable.
Every round, it restores 1/3 of the maximum health of your frontline tank.
And everybody knows that a good healer can completely change the outcome of a battle.
Deflection Shroud: At the start of battle, adjacent units gain Deflect.
Now this ability is really unique.
At the start of battle, adjacent units gain Deflect, which means they become immune to:
Magic Reflect
Return Fire
Thorns
Blast splash damage
Corrosive Ward
That is honestly a LOT of protection.
Affliction: 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed.
And finally, Fizbo can apply Afflicted, preventing enemies from healing.
Against heal-heavy teams, this can become incredibly annoying.
This was honestly the question I kept asking myself.
Because let's be real, there are a lot of strong legendary cards in #Splinterlands.
But spending around $200 on a gold version is a huge investment.
After looking at Fizbo more carefully, I think the price isn't really about raw stats.
It's about:
Utility
Rarity
Collection value
Unique support abilities
Gold foil demand
So while it might not be the strongest attacker in the game, it definitely offers something unique.
Personally, I don't think Fizbo is a card you throw into every lineup.
I think it works best when:
You have a powerful frontline tank
You're expecting lots of reflected damage
You need healing support
You're playing longer battles
A possible setup could be:
Strong tank in first position
Fizbo directly behind it
High damage dealers in the back
This way you maximize both the healing and Deflection Shroud effect.
Honestly, before today, I thought Fizbo the Fabulous was mostly a meme card.
But after actually reading through the abilities and understanding the utility, I kinda get why some players value it so highly.
Is it worth $200?
For competitive players and collectors, maybe yes.
For regular players like me?
Probably not.
Still, I have to admit, Fizbo might be one of the most unique support cards I've seen in #Splinterlands.
And honestly, any card that looks like an evil magical clown and still manages to be useful deserves some respect.
Anyway thats it for today’s #Splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
