𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇'𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐀 || 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐈'𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐍
Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today I wanted to do another card spotlight, and honestly this one caught my attention immediately. Not only because of the artwork (which looks absolutely amazing), but because the abilities on this card are kinda insane.
The card is Cloveria Morth'lana, an Epic Life unit, and at max level (6) she gets four different abilities that make her feel really unique.
And after reading those abilities properly, I started thinking this card can become really scary if left alive for too long.
𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Right away, the first thing I noticed was the stats.
Mana Cost: 7
Attack: 4 Ranged
Speed: 4
Health: 3
Not super tanky at all.
Actually, she looks kinda fragile.
But I don't think this card is supposed to survive forever. I think she is meant to deal huge damage before the enemy can stop her.
And that's where the abilities become crazy.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟏: 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞
Recharge: Attacks every other round but deals triple damage.
This ability makes her attack every other round, but the attack deals triple damage.
Which already sounds dangerous.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐: 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐡
Ambush: Takes an extra turn prior to the first round of battle.
Probably one of my favorite abilities.
She gets an extra turn before round 1 even starts.
Basically getting free damage before the battle really begins.
That alone can change an entire match.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟑: 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞
Camouflage: Cannot be directly targeted unless in the first position.
This makes her impossible to directly target unless she reaches the first position.
Honestly, this is huge.
Because cards with low health normally die quickly, but Camouflage helps protect her from Sneak and Snipe strategies.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟒: 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞
Double Strike: And this is where things become really wild.
Attacking twice every turn while also having Recharge can create some ridiculous burst damage.
I still can't stop thinking about how scary this combination could be.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝
What I really like about Cloveria Morth'lana is that she doesn't feel like a normal ranged attacker.
Most ranged cards are pretty simple.
Attack.
Wait.
Attack again.
But this card feels different.
There is something exciting about having Ambush plus Double Strike plus Recharge together.
It feels unpredictable.
And honestly, I love cards that have weird combinations like this.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍
Honestly, Cloveria Morth'lana might be one of the coolest looking Life cards I've seen recently.
The ability combination is just crazy.
Recharge, Ambush, Camouflage and Double Strike all together sounds like something designed to surprise opponents.
I haven't used her enough yet, but just looking at the card makes me want to experiment with different teams.
And that's one thing I really enjoy about #Splinterlands.
Sometimes you find cards that don't look overpowered at first, but once you understand them, you realize they can become absolute monsters.
I think Cloveria Morth'lana is one of those cards.
