This is my entry for #Colorchallenge #PurpleSunday
This purple flame, today, can be seen on many lawns.
The name of these flowers is Phlox, it is a derivative of the Greek word flame.
Among these colors, there are many colors, but, most often, I find purple and white variations.
It is amazing how breeders learned to fix one or another coloring, which is transmitted from generation to generation.
Insects love these flowers, this is a good place for hunting, if you set a goal to catch an interesting representative of flying insects in the focus of your camera.
