... therefore, have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

23

KJV: And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

24

KJV: Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Sometimes it is very hard to be happy because we find ourselves in a fallen and broken world. This makes it difficult for us to be happy all the time.

Our circumstances, the people around us, and sometimes even ourselves keep us from happiness. But one thing is sure, We may not always be happy, but (if we are believers and followers of Christ) we should always be joyful.

If you ask me, happiness is more of a temporary feeling of pleasure or contentment based on what is truly happening in your life/ around you, while joy is permanent or enduring contentment, irrespective of what is happening in my life/ around us.

In Conclusion,

  1. Joy is only Found in the Lord And Happiness is Found within Ourselves, our circumstances and those around us...
  2. Since our Joy comes from the Lord, who never ever changes, with him out joy would never change. While Happiness Constantly Changes.

Romans 15:13
KJV: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

May Joy Of the Lord fill Our Month of December and the rest of Our lives. Amen!
