Today I will show you the only German round that I have. It pays homage to Michael Schumacher, considered by some as the greatest Formula 1 pilot of all times.
I could not find much info about this round, but it weights 8.5g with 99.9% silver purity and Colored Proof finish.
His career was amazing:
Seven Formula 1 World Championships, five of them he won consecutively.
The record of most World Championship titles (seven).
The most Grand Prix wins (ninety one).
The most fastest laps (seventy seven).
The most races won in a single season (thirteen).
According to the official Formula 1 website (Formula1.com), Schumacher was "statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen" at the time of his retirement.
The reverse hints about the time this round was struck, a little after 1995. It shows his portrait, the race when he won the 1995 Championship, and his birthday.
I am sorry for the scratches, but they are on the capsule, not on the round.
The obverse is a stilized design of a Formula 1 race.
It is written: "German Formula 1 pilot".
