I watched the live action movie only because my daughter wanted to watch it. Haha. Ariel is my least favorite disney princess. But when I read the real story by Hans Christian Andersen, I had a whole new respect for the little mermaid. The movies made her this selfish spoiled-brat princess when really, she's the opposite. Still, the movie was awesome. We watched it on 3D so we were able to enjoy the special effects a little bit more. I still hoped they showed a little bit more of the real story though.
