Have you ever experienced dealing with your headset cord starting to damage and unravel? This has always been the case for me ever since I started using headsets. And it really is so much waste of money if you always buy new ones because you could not contain and control the unravelling of youf headset.
But when I became a stay at home mom, I made a point to make sure that I repair what can still be repaired so we don't waste that much money.
I decided to protect my headset with crochet. Yep, crochet not only gives you beautiful clothes and accessories, you can also mke headset protector. It's another simple nd quick project. Not too ornamental but very much practical.
It is also a good conversation piece when I'm outside. Of course, I'll have to remove the headset from my ear so I can answer people asking if I crocheted this headset protector. :)
It's just a series of single crochet all you can until you've covered the entire thing. I used different colors on the rarbuds so I know which one is for the right and left ear. I made this a couole of months ago back when I wasn't too active on steemit. (I used to post 1 blog entry each day.) I was a little too busy IRL with crocheting and other stuff, I couldn't find time for steeming.
Ok got to go to sleep now to keep the immune system strong. Again, keep safe everyone. Sanitize and wash your hands as often as possible.
