You need to be careful using JM Bullion charts, especially in the after-hours when the market is not open. I viewed many metals sites, Palladium never traded above $2000 on Friday. The Palladium Bid-Ask, has a normal $20-30 range, but in this case, after hours, someone put in a 2012.27 Ask price. During an active session, another seller would undercut this high ask price and get the trade. This price would now be the Spot Price. For some reason, JM Bullion post the ASK on their ticker, some other dealers, use a mid-point between the Bid-Ask, most use the actual spot price and add a dealer premium to determine their selling price to the public.
RE: Wow Palladium ended up spiking over $2010 before closing yesterday! Gold also closed at highs.
