Seriously, these "virtual worlds" represent what compared to the "real world?" A question continually before me ...

We just know gardening has been around from the beginning, given that we must work and produce food for ourselves. And it is a marvel and wonder, the more time spent with it, to see the rich diversity of life, both plants and the various creatures in amongst them (and under them, e.g. earthworms!) that all work in harmony with each other.

@flemingfarm can speak to this, with more experience that I can, but I have personally lived it and place great value in it.
