Key to me is that people are able to clearly distinguish between however one would go about defining "worth something," from a money-making investment. The latter must be based on cold, hard, facts.

The original "experiment" of creating Steem / Hive, based on linking $$s with the universal human desire for affirmation blurs this distinction.
