This one cake generally consists of 3 layers of color, namely yellow-brown-yellow. However, some are selling spiku with 2 layers of color only, yellow and brown. The texture of the spiku is very soft and almost similar to chiffon cake. It is sweet and in the middle between the color layer there is jam and raisins.
This spicy cake is very easy to find in almost every pastry shop in Surabaya. In fact, you can also buy my spiece to be made souvenirs.
