Crazy, isn’t it, how we can be so distrustful of others’ happiness... 🤣

This takes me back... a year ago, I honestly doubted when people appeared happy, as though they must either be asleep or delusional...

Interesting contrasts and reflections over time... saw a girl yesterday working at a cafe, probably no older than 18... sure a pure, innocent, genuine smile, so striking. Previously, the experience of simply observing her probably would’ve been contaminated with my own emotional discord, doubting what I saw - yet now, there was just this different level of clear, objective appreciation and delight in witnessing such a beautiful experience in this soul filled with happiness... 💖
