Pokemon go being relatively popular I felt like sharing some basic things to help a new player.
So first things first, how to catch a pokemon easier - When you hold the ball you'll notice an orange circle zooming in on the pokemon, when it's small that's your time to strike for the best results.
To receive good - great - excellent throws, you must hit the pokemon with your pokeball and it must go through the orange circle.
Personally I have alot of eevees out here,
Original theory - still seems accurate:
An evee with dig will become flareon.
An evee with body slam becomes aquareon.
An evee with swift gets you a jolteon.
However that can be frustrating - a new trick recently learned was due to the names of the trainer's in the original pokemon
By naming your evee Pyro it will evolve into flareon
Sparky becomes Jolteon
Reiner becomes aquareon
When tracking a pokemon in the bottom right corner you'll see a set of footprints, 1 footprint = 100 meters, 2 = 200 meters, 3 = 300 meters
When specifically selecting a pokemon if you're facing in the correct direction you'll see a white blinking light around the bottom right corner, that means you're going the right direction.
Lastly be safe, look both ways before crossing and be aware of what's around you. We are poke trainer's/secretly preventing crimes not being a part of one.
